Whitepoint X - If the White Balance Mode parameter (see above) is set to manual, then the
Whitepoint X parameter can be used to adjust the red/cyan balance in the captured images.
Decrease the setting to made the images more red, and increase the setting to make the images
more cyan.
Note that if the White Balance Mode parameter is set to a value other than manual, the Whitepoint
X parameter will be read only and will indicate the current whitepoint X value as set by the automatic
white balance control.
Whitepoint Y - If the White Balance Mode parameter (see above) is set to manual, then the
Whitepoint Y parameter can be used to adjust the green/purple balance in the captured images.
Decrease the setting to made the images more green, and increase the setting to make the images
more purple.
Note that if the White Balance Mode parameter is set to value other than manual, the Whitepoint Y
parameter will be read only and will indicate the current whitepoint Y value as set by the automatic
white balance control.
3.3.3 Day/Night Tab
Note: The settings on this tab will only be adjustable on day/night models of the camera. On non-
day/night cameras, the parameter values will be indicated as "Fixed" or "Not Available".
Section 6 on page 69 provides detailed information about how the camera’s day/night functionality
works. We recommend that you read this section before you set the parameters on the day/night
tab.
IR Filter Mode - Sets the mode of operation for the camera’s IR-cut
filter.
Auto = The camera automatically senses the change from night to
day or from day to night and sets the position of the camera’s IR-cut
filter accordingly.
Open = Move the IR-cut filter to the open position and keep it there.
Closed = Move the IR-cut filter to the closed position and keep it
there.
Input Pin 0 Controlled = The position of the IR-cut filter will be
controlled by the state of the camera’s input pin 0.
IR Filter State - Indicates the current state of the camera’s IR-cut filter.
Open = The IR-cut filter is currently in the open position.
Closed = The IR-cut filter is currently in the closed position.
